About the EDC

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at GPP is established as per AICTE guidelines to promote entrepreneurship among diploma students. It aims to build entrepreneurial skills, connect students with the startup ecosystem, and support those who wish to start their own ventures after completing their diploma.

The EDC works in close coordination with the SSIP Committee, Innovation Cell, and industry partners to create a complete ecosystem for student entrepreneurs at GPP.

Programmes & Activities

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC)

Short-term awareness camps for students to understand the basics of starting a business.

Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP)

Intensive training covering business ideation, planning, legal aspects, and financing.

Industry Visits

Visits to local industries and MSMEs to expose students to real business environments.

Guest Lectures

Sessions by successful entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and startup founders.

Business Plan Competitions

Annual competition for students to pitch business ideas and win seed funding support.

SSIP Integration

EDC works closely with the SSIP Committee to convert ideas into funded projects.
