Please note that although the Girls Hostel Committee remains constituted to oversee student residential matters, the hostel accommodation facility itself is currently suspended.
As the building is very old, it has been declared unfit by the PWD. Students must manage their own accommodation outside the campus.
Rooms provided with beds, storage, and study tables for women students coming from distant locations.
In-house mess with nutritious vegetarian meals. Menu rotated weekly. Special dietary needs addressed.
Recreation and rest area for hostel residents with TV, indoor games, and seating.
24×7 security at hostel gates. CCTV surveillance. Visitor entry only with prior permission.
First aid available at hostel. Sick bay for temporary medical rest. Tie-up with nearby clinic.
Dedicated quiet study room available in the evening for exam preparation.
Residents must follow hostel timing and sign in/out register
Guests (including family) allowed in common area with warden permission only
Mobile phones permitted but must not disturb other residents during quiet hours (10 PM – 6 AM)
Cooking in rooms is not permitted
Ragging, substance abuse, or anti-social behaviour will result in immediate expulsion
Room inspections are conducted periodically by the warden
