About the ICC

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

It provides a safe and confidential mechanism for women students and staff to report sexual harassment.

The committee inquires into complaints and recommends appropriate action within 90 days.

What Constitutes Sexual Harassment

Physical contact and advances
Demand or request for sexual favours
Making sexually coloured remarks
Showing pornography
Any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature

Complaints are strictly confidential. Complainants are protected from retaliation. Submit written complaints to the Presiding Officer, ICC, GPP Palanpur.
