About the Cell

The Physically Handicapped (PH) Grievance Cell at GPP is constituted to safeguard the rights of students with disabilities and ensure they receive appropriate academic, infrastructural, and administrative support. The cell operates in compliance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and guidelines from AICTE.

GPP is committed to creating an inclusive campus where students with physical disabilities can pursue their diploma education without barriers.

Provisions & Support

Barrier-Free Access

Ramps, wide doorways, and accessible pathways on campus to ensure mobility for wheelchair users and students with physical disabilities.

Accessible Washrooms

Specially designed washroom facilities accessible to students with physical disabilities.

Exam Provisions

Extra time, scribe assistance, and special seating arrangements for students with disabilities during examinations, as per GTU and AICTE norms.

Priority Seating

Front-row seating in classrooms and labs available for students with visual or hearing impairments.

Grievance Mechanism

A dedicated and confidential channel for PwD students to raise concerns about access, treatment, or academic support.

Scholarship Guidance

Assistance with scholarship applications specifically available for students with disabilities from state and central government schemes.
