The Civil Department, established in 1984, is one of the college’s pioneering technical streams. It runs the Diploma in Civil Engineering, training students in structural design, surveying and construction technology. The programme is taught jointly with the Applied Mechanics Department, which carries the mechanics, materials and soil courses. The department is led by Mr. D.N. Sheth.
