Grievance Redressal

Government Polytechnic Palanpur is committed to addressing student grievances promptly and fairly. Every student has the right to a safe, equitable, and supportive educational environment.

Institute Commitment

As per GTU and AICTE guidelines, GPP has constituted a Grievance Redressal Committee to address complaints from students, parents, and staff. All complaints are treated with confidentiality and resolved impartially. No student will face any negative consequences for raising a legitimate grievance.

Types of Grievances Handled

Academic Grievances

Concerns related to examinations, evaluations, attendance, or academic processes.

Administrative Grievances

Issues with documentation, certificates, scholarships, or institute administrative procedures.

Facility Grievances

Complaints about hostel, canteen, laboratory equipment, internet, or campus infrastructure.

Misconduct / Harassment

Cases of ragging, bullying, discrimination, or any misconduct against students or staff.

Grievance Resolution Process

Submit Complaint

Approach any committee member in person or submit your complaint in writing to the Complaint Box placed at the college entrance / office.

Acknowledgement

Your complaint will be acknowledged within 2 working days and assigned a reference number for tracking.

Enquiry

The committee will investigate the complaint, gather facts, and may call both parties for a hearing within 10 working days.

04

Resolution

A decision will be communicated in writing within 30 working days. If unsatisfied, you may escalate to the GTU Ombudsman.

How to Submit a Grievance

    Written Application: Submit a signed, dated letter to the Principal's office or any committee member.

    Complaint Box: Drop your written complaint in the sealed box at the college main entrance.

    Email / Phone: Contact the committee chairperson directly at gppelect09@gmail.com or 9664982258.

    Online Portal: Via the college front office or directly through gtugrs.gtu.ac.in for GTU-level queries.

Escalation & Ombudsman

If you are not satisfied with the committee's decision within 30 days, you may escalate to the GTU Ombudsman as per GTU instructions.
